Daughter of the Sun

Daughter of the Sun_singing 5

‘Daughter of the Sun’ was a classical recital I gave in fulfillment of my degree requirements at Westminster Choir College of Rider University, Princeton New Jersey. The repertoire I presented featured 20th-century Art Songs, many by the American composer Samuel Barber. Settings of texts by the poet Langston Hughes were also featured.

My coach in preparation for the performance was the soprano Elizabeth Sutton, which whom I studied for 3 years. I was accompanied by Janet Law.
